The code infrastructure itself is written in Python though Jupyter is a language-independent framework. Therefore, the way that is easiest to have Jupyter in a cross-platform way is always to install a circulation of Python, such as for instance Anaconda, that incldues Jupyter as being a package. We won’t go into detail at the moment on how to use Jupyter; below, we suggest some resources for getting started with Jupyter as a programming tool since we want to focus in this post on how to write papers rather than on the programming aspects. For the time being, we concentrate on getting Jupyter set up and operating.
